COMIXVILLE #8
(free for a stamp from Comixville / PO Box 697 / Portland, OR / 97207-0697 USA)
This is actually the last issue of
Comixville, at least for a while. There may or may not be another issue, but let's hope it continues.
Comixville is a mini-sized plugzine for comics that focuses on work with a lot of heart and soul. Sean Stewart conducts and interview with Ben of
Snakepit and and the rest of the issue consists of plugs (most with art samples) for 26 comics. It's a good resource that's easy on the eyes and perfect for passing around from person to person. Also, a number of the comics mentioned have never been reviewed here at Poopsheet so it just goes to show how many outlets for this sort of thing are needed. Send these folks some stamps and encourage them to keep at it!
