Sadder Than You

SADDER THAN YOU #5

(John Mosteller, www.hairlessape.net)

Review by Rick Bradford

John Mosteller is back with more short tales from his "crazy and hazy party years", some of which are funny, some just sad. My favorite bit in this one is about a fireworks mishap. That's followed by a story of sleepiness and the issue is rounded out with a couple of stories about animal abuse. The art in this comic, as you may recall, is done on a computer and is comprised mostly of geometric shapes and some tones. It's not my favorite approach to comic art but it does the job more often than I'd think.
