Review by Rick Bradford
My favorite bits in this catch-all zine are probably Sydne's story of a "dashboard dickie" (a novelty penis on a spring mounted you-know-where) and Dan's pornographic cartoons. Other stuff in the issue: learning to love romantic comedies (in Japan even), a rant against weightism, zine reviews, "If Anne Were a D&D Person" (her name would be L'Anne d'Sexorsista, which is the funniest thing about the piece), music recommendations (good taste, if you ask me), at least a couple of lists and more. I wouldn't say this is the best zine I've ever read but it is one of my favorite types of zines – the "hodge-podge" kind. Just throw a bunch of stuff of varying quality together with no real focus. Why? Just because it amuses you. In all seriousness, I generally like that approach because I see it as the heart of zine-making. Sure, some focus is nice, but not always necessary.
