Drawn as part of the recent 24-Hour Comics Challenge. I took part in that, though my story turned out a lot less elegantly than Pam's. Wait .. there's only 18 pages here! Somebody fetch Scott McCloud!

No matter, it's a great story with enchanting art, a truly spooky Mysterious Stranger, and gentle fun for all. The little quarter-letter mini-comic is not dead!
