Review by Rick Bradford
I've been working at a library for a while now and have been making notes about the things that seem to go along with the environment, so I got a real kick out of this mini-zine. The "good" and "bad" sections are separated in a split-zine format with tips/cartoons by Androo Robinson, Cole Johnson, Billy McKay, Bobby Tran Dale, Rina Ayuyang and others. I found myself relating to many of the points raised and either chuckling or accidentally releasing a "Preach on!" out loud (good thing I wasn't in a library!). The zine is lots of fun (and a good reminder of what should be common sense behavior) but it doesn't end there; it comes inside a card pocket (like you find in library books) that also includes a card catalog cast-off and an actual library card of your very own! This is a charming project that I think can be appreciated by library types and others as well.
