Robots are the theme of the latest issue of this anthology. There’s a nice mix of styles here, with standout stories by Dean LeCrone, Anton Bogaty, Kevin Hanna and Eric Weems. Shane White’s color centerfold (reminiscent of the Mars Attacks! trading cards) is magnificent. My only gripe is the price. $5.00 is a bit expensive for 64 pages, especially when it seems the book was hand-stapled quickly and haphazardly, and the pages weren’t trimmed. Normally, I wouldn’t care about these little things, but the appearance is a little sloppy, given the price.

Staples, you just can't depend on them for book pubishing. And the printing crimes continue with #6 haveing the cover colors off, by a somewhat noteworthy printer. We call that one the Radioactive Issue now...But finally with Slam Bang #7 the Office Depot pulls through with a great print job. They even trimmed the right edge. But I'm ready for a real printer...and will soon be going to a 100 page slick cover digest... www.slamabang.us
