This zine presents an assortment of recollections of first and otherwise personally significant encounters with rock 'n' roll. Arranged like a high school notebook, the setup is complete with squiggly sketches in the margins and a spiral-bound, college-ruled background. With pieces on Tom Cochran, fifteen-year-old afternoons spent looking at porn, and a child's yellow record player that "looked like an easy bake oven," the writers relay memories that most American twenty-somethings will find more than a little familiar. From the front cover drawing of a prenatal rocker, this zine is fun and quirky, and avoids becoming overly nostaligic.
